Linda Hogan was born in Kansas,1950,and attended college in Kansas and Arizona. Her experimental work in three-dimensional art spans more than 35 years. She has been represented by fine art galleries since 1982. Her innovative work has been featured in 5 solo shows, 4 in Scottsdale, Arizona and 1 in Palm Springs, California. She produced "Dimensional Vision" at the Kerr Cultural Center in Scottsdale, a show of 5 artists plus herself who each were on the cutting edge of their mediums.
Linda`s work was accepted in the prestigious Rocky Mountain Biennial at the Lincoln Center, Ft. Collins, Colorado. 2002 She received an award at the National Juried show in Greeley Colorado, and was accepted in the Museum of Contemporary Art Show, Ft Collins, 2003
She received "Best of Colorado" award, 2001
Linda served on the Castle Rock, Colorado Arts Council for 3 years helping to select major art works for the town.
She was commissioned to do a large piece for the Southglenn Public Library, Denver
She and her husband Dennis were on the the island of Molokai for over a year where she began her Sea Turtle series. Vero Beach, Florida was the next stop and even more turtles! She is represented by 3 Florida galleries and 3 Hawaii galleries. Summer of 2009 brings her back to the Rockies and there will be a switch back to Moose, Bear and Mountain landscapes.
